With over 20 years of experience in surety law, Ms. Martinez-Genzon is a trusted advisor to sureties, providing expert legal counsel and representation in all matters related to commercial bonds, court bonds, probate bonds, and construction bonds. Throughout her distinguished career, Ms. Martinez-Genzon has focused exclusively on the interests of sureties, prioritizing comprehensive defense strategies and the mitigation of damages.
Ms. Martinez-Genzon represents sureties in claims analysis, litigation, indemnity actions and administrative proceedings. She works closely with her surety clients to minimize risk exposure and help navigate the unique challenges that often arise in the surety industry. Whether defending claims made against bonds or resolving disputes over bond obligations, Ms. Martinez-Genzon leverages extensive experience to protect the interests of her clients.
In the commercial bond sector, Ms. Martinez-Genzon has successfully advised and defended sureties in litigation involving license and permit bonds, public official bond and miscellaneous bonds. In addition, Ms. Martinez–Genzon has extensive knowledge and is highly experienced in complex probate bond cases, where she helps sureties manage the risks involved in fiduciary bonds, and in actions involving court bonds, where she has defended sureties in the enforcement of judicial bonds and suretyship obligations.
In the construction industry, Ms. Martinez-Genzon has a proven track record of working with sureties to address the challenges of performance bonds and payment bonds claims. From large-scale infrastructure projects to smaller developments, Ms. Martinez-Genzon works closely with her surety clients in the assessment and negotiation of claims and throughout the completion process.
