Justyn Howard’s career reflects a deep and consistent commitment to education, advocacy, and service. He earned his undergraduate degree in Sociology from University of California, Santa Barbara, where he developed a strong foundation in social systems, equity, and public policy. He went on to receive his Master’s degree in Education from University of California, Los Angeles. Following his graduate studies, Justyn taught sixth grade at an inner-city public school in Los Angeles. His experience in the classroom, working directly with underserved students and families, shaped his understanding of the challenges facing children within the education system and solidified his desire to create broader, systemic change.

Driven to expand his impact beyond the classroom, Justyn pursued his Juris Doctor at University of Southern California. He began his legal career advocating for children’s rights, with a particular emphasis on representing children with special needs and ensuring compliance with education and disability-related laws. His work focused on protecting student rights, improving access to appropriate educational services, and navigating complex regulatory frameworks.

Justyn later transitioned into the higher education sector, where he handled student compliance matters for colleges and universities. In this role, he advised institutions on regulatory compliance, student conduct, and policy implementation, bridging legal requirements with practical, student-centered solutions.

In addition to his education-focused practice, Justyn has developed experience in surety law, representing surety companies in connection with a wide range of surety bonds. His experience includes investigating surety bond claims and defending sureties in litigation against issued bonds. His multidisciplinary background allows him to approach legal issues with both analytical precision and a strong appreciation for real-world impact.

Outside of his professional work, Justyn is a die-hard fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and enjoys playing Texas Hold’em in his free time, bringing the same strategic mindset to the table that he applies in his legal practice.
